About Hawaiian BBQ House
Hawaiian BBQ House is a hawaiian bbq in Los Angeles, California. It is listed at 3552 W 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA 90020, which places it among the local businesses of Los Angeles that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as barbecue restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

This place is disgusting. I tried this restaurant a few months ago and had a great experience. There was a woman working there at the time who was incredibly sweet and welcoming, but I havenβt seen her during my last few visits. Unfortunately, both this visit and my previous one were terrible. The short woman working at the front never smiled and seemed irritated that customers were even walking in the door. Customer service was awful from the moment I arrived. I ordered a chicken katsu plate with rice. I was told it would take about 10 minutes, which was completely fine with me. However, when I received my food, the chicken katsu was extremely hard. I tried to eat it and didnβt want to be picky, but the more I ate, the harder it seemed. There was barely any chicken insideβmostly just thick, hard breading. I debated whether to take it back because the service was already so unpleasant, but after only one bite, I simply couldnβt eat it. When I brought it back, the woman at the counter and the owner both insisted that the chicken was supposed to be that way. It absolutely was not. Iβve had chicken katsu from many other places, and it has never been hard as a rock. After going ba

What a gem! This place has delicious food for an amazing price. I paid $12 for a plate worth two meals. Unbelievable! You will not find a place in LA in 2026 with food this good for such a steal. They even had Siracha and the staff is super friendly.

I walk pass this store all the time so I finally decided to give them a try. The woman at the front desk was quick, direct and kind which I liked. The food itself is okay at best, I got the bbq trio which came with spare ribs, bbq chicken and beef with rice, macaroni salad and veggies. My first critique are the spare ribs which were VERY fatty so I would advise against getting them. I nearly choked trying to chew and swallow them. My second critique is of the veggies which were at the bottom of the meat so it was soggy by time I got to them. The food itself didnβt have much bbq flavor to it imo. Lastly I wish they would update their prices on their signs, I ordered thinking I was only gonna spend about $12 but the meal turned out to be $14.

Umm teriyaki chicken is questionable. Like where is the teriyaki sauce? Also gave no soy sauce in bag.

This place has gone down hill. They now have a B rating. The place is dirty with random shoes behind the counter. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a while. It used to be good and clean but they seem to stop caring. The workers seem a bit dirty too with long yellow nails on the men and them just sitting around in the dinning area. They do charge a fee for credit cards. No restrooms.
